Questions and answers

Plain answers about your data, your money and how the service works. The full details are in the Terms of use and Privacy notice.

Do you sell my data?

No. We never have and never will. We show no ads, run no trackers and share nothing for advertising.

Why don’t I have a password?

Because passwords are what get stolen. When a company is hacked, it’s the password list that walks out the door, and people reuse passwords everywhere. So we never store one. You sign in with a passkey: your phone or computer checks your face, fingerprint or PIN and proves it’s you, and only a public key reaches us. A public key is useless to a thief, it can’t be guessed, it can’t be phished, and it works only on the real concessions.online. If our servers were ever broken into, there would be no passwords to take.

What happens to my email address when I order?

We send you a receipt and a private link to your order, and the alerts you turn on. The address is stored encrypted, is never added to a list, and is erased 30 days after the order is finished. Ordering doesn’t create an account.

Will you email me?

Only about something you did or asked for: a sign-in code, your order or tickets, an invitation or a shift reminder. No marketing, ever.

Do you see my card number?

No. You enter it on Stripe’s or Square’s own page or reader, under the organization’s own account, and the money goes straight to the organization. We never hold it.

How long do you keep things?

Guest email addresses go 30 days after the order. Codes die in ten minutes. Orders, tickets and payment records stay as the organization’s financial records, for at least seven years. The full table is in the privacy notice.

Who can see my order?

Staff at the stand see the items and the pickup name, not your email address. The organization’s administrators see payments and refunds. Our own access to an organization’s records is read-only, time-limited and recorded.

Can I get my information or have it deleted?

Yes. Email info@concessions.online. We answer within 45 days, and usually much sooner.

Is this for kids?

The service isn’t aimed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information. Schools decide how students may order.

Where’s the fine print?

The Terms of use and Privacy notice, each version kept at its own address.
